Keeping urf around

TheCareTakerBard··4 votes·638 views

Ok so recently riot has brought back urf and it's been amazing A lot of people have been playing it and it's been amazing. Honestly the community needs to find a way to vent because many people with bad attitudes or just want to play around play a ranked game and make people usually lose. Urf has put smiles on many peoples faces and makes this game fun again. Think about it if it's too stressful to play a ranked or just don't have much time for a game this will be the perfect gamemode to do it. So i'm asking riot please keep urf around I know i'm not the only one who wants this and the community will thanks you :) Thanks for reading~TheCareTakerBardBard

I think everyone already knows what Riot has said on the matter. However, I think that with URF in particular, a significant part of the playerbase wants Riot to change their minds.

You're such a child. I really meant it when I suggested that recovery program to you. Best of luck!

Significant, yes, but I don't think it's a majority.

If we had access to the statistics, I bet we'd see that URF participation has already fallen off greatly since release, and it's only been a couple of days.

I don't think there would be a difference in statistics between a mode everyone loved and a mode everyone hated in this regard. The existing playerbase would be excited to play a new mode, and try to hop on as soon as they could to give it a go. Over time, people have to get back to whatever habits their lives require, including less LoL for anyone with a job and responsibilities.

And that's almost beside the point, since what is more indicative of popularity is "how does URF participation compare to the standard game modes?"

Queue times have stayed under 20 seconds every time I've gotten on in the last few days. Most of the time, I don't even wait 10 seconds. Unless the matchmaking process is less stringent, that means that there are just more players playing it.
