How to get rid of trolls/toxic players in ranked.

IN CHAMP SELECT for ranked solo/duo queue: If your whole team knows a player is going to troll or feed for fun cause he's an ass or smurf..the team should have a one time vote majority rules..to kick the player out of select to find another game without the risk of dodging which means losing LP or forfeiting your promo series. If the troll is duo...the duo partner cannot vote to keep him in the game. That is what we need. You can't fucking ruin a whole game for everybody in ranked just cause you're smurfing in gold or silver cause your main is plat, diamond or even challenger. OR even if you are one of those toxic shits that just troll in ranked for fun.. It's not fun. It just ruins everyone's morale, and liking of this game. Everyone deserves an equal chance to win.

I understand this system may be flawed...but I am sure over time we can refine it to a perfect method of avoiding and removing toxic and troll players. This system will drastically help minimize or even eliminate the purpose of trolling, and shun toxic players till they learn to play with good behavior. Dodging select should still have LP penalties and promo forfeit penalties to create a balance. That way players are more than likely to play in "teamwork" orientated behavior in ranked. This option should not be available in normals..cause I guess normals are for fun..but ranking really is taken seriously by many. BUMP please if you support this idea, or leave a comment or like to give some feedback. Let's get some staff members to see this please. I have also posted this in the Ideas & Feedback forums...please let me know what you think.

I love this idea. Would of been great a couple days ago when I was in my promotion games and in the lobby it was very obvious that one of the other players were extremely toxic. Right at the beginning calling people fa**ots and to pick faster. This little feature would of really helped out.

I totally agree with this idea~ In my mind, a player who really want to play a rank game will always don't care to spend a little more time to wait a game without trolls/toxic players. How many times cause these trolls/toxic players we lose the game is important to me,you or him that make us angry ,make u can't stop blaming these shitty players then get a warning from judgement system?

In my opinion if they created an algorithm which actually looked at the end game stats relative to the champion/role, opposing and current team the problem would be solved much more efficiently.

Examples:

Your team carries a 0/12 BORK alistar who buys no wards, isn't jungling. Your team only has 14 deaths total. This alistar should be immediately identified (using the algorithm) as a troll or a feeder.

Your team loses, but your CS is 125% over your team and the opposing team. You are top lane, bought wards and went 2:1 but ended up surrendering because you could not carry a feeder or afk player.

As you can see by the examples above, the algorithm is not meant to calculate your "skill level" based on win/loss alone. It utilizes all the variables which accurately predict a players skill relative to the other players in your game.

This above type of system would end up providing trolls/toxic players the ability to demote themselves to such a level that they would end up quitting and we wouldn't need worry about bans. This would also allow players who care and are decently skilled to be above those who do not care while still providing low end players like myself the chance to not be playing with trolls.

I'm saying this because calculating a players skill off win/loss alone is ignorant and not indicative of a team game with multiple variables.

riot has discussed putting in such a thing in the past. and i think that for the present, they've decided against it. instead they're starting team builder, which will be a whole separate prototype queue. it's not going into ranked. nor is it going into draft, to start. but they are going to test that out and then address the draft issues. their goal is to solve the root of the problem of toxic behavior.

they're studies suggest that doing as you suggest and putting in a kick system would be hugely flawed and result in a lot of increased queue times and doesn't actually fix the behavior.

i have similar problems to you, but i agree with riot. this doesn't solve the toxic/troll problem. will just cause too many other problems and riot is reluctant to put in a half measure like this.

Thanks for the feed back guys. I did manage to get to gold 5 today after nearly failing promos 7 times which always seemed to be because of trolls/toxic players. It is very VERY annoying to play ranked...but it is possible to go up...but it is so stressful I know the feels bro.
