I've noticed over the last week that ranked games, and in even normal draft are seen less and less often in the spectate box. I've seen one ranked team available for viewing, but at present and most of today and the weekend its all ARAM and Blind pick normal.
I'm curious if this is a factor of ranked season coming to an end or if blind pick not using the new champ select is the cause?

It's probably the new draft queues haven't been added to the Featured Spectate algorithm, so it doesn't check for those games. I don't recall Featured Spectate doing this in previous ranked seasons, though I could wrong.
The extra attention on ARAM is nice though. It'd be even better if Treeline and Dominion matches showed up in Featured Spectate as well. There's already enough places to see Rift games (e.g. those new-ish esports client notifications), but barely any places to see high-level alternate maps action.
