playing vs high plats in normals cuz i was forced to play them for a while and im stomping/winning every game. get back to ranked first 2 games jungler is 0-0-0 pr 0-2-0 till 20 min gold 3's managed to win one of the games the other lost obviously because it was 4v5 half the game, next game lose as 20-10 and was really fed but our 2-10 reksai wouldnt stop pushing top then blaming us and the next game was super fed bot was feeding and top wouldnt help us (not kidding when i say these players wont help we had to 4v5 bot because this kid wouldnt move from top) and this is over the span of 5 games? rofl? http://gyazo.com/20a3201cbecc96fae2f04aea446884b6 i dont even play these champs and they are vs high plats while i smash them but cant win vs gold 5's due to this luck rofl, serious banning needs to be done meanwhile i look like the bad guy for getting mad that these players arent even playing as a team and trying when i could get players that gave more of a shit in normals. i don think those types of players are toxic the ones that are impacting the games are. oh boo hoo i said our 0-0-0 morg at 24 is useless cuz guess what?? she is! if i say it maybe she'll start fucking playing instead nope im "toxic" lawl at this community

Averagely Unranked players are around Silver level of competence.

Blinds teaches you how to play around all kinds of team, whether you're getting countered, no team synergy etc. Ranked teaches you to ban, counter pick and strategise your composition with roles and position in place to get around obstacles.

A) gold 5 is bronze all over again because G5 is half elo boosted accounts

B) you can't use someone's ranked status to determine their skill level in a normal game.

First of all if you're playing ranked you're playing to win, you're playing what you're best at and in normals you should be practicing things you aren't best at. I played a few games with a friend of a friend who just hit Diamond 5 the other day. Pretty sure his best game was 10/7/10 as Kalista (and I went like 3/2/10 that game as his supp idek how his score happened). He's a support main, in fact he's an amazing support, fed like all hell in normals because he refused to play support. My other friend just hit G5 and pretty much loses all his normal games too. In fact he's a definite FF@20 because we're 1 kill down kind of guy, because normals don't matter to him. As a support main (with over 90% of my ranked games in botlane) I also always call mid or jungle in normals. I can't land a successful fiddlesticks ult, but I will jungle fiddlesticks all day long in normals. If you want to play something you're good at (especially if you're a support main) you go ranked. If you're always gonna get your role in ranked and you know you're good at your role, why would you play a normals game? Someone in plat playing normals probably hasn't played a lot of blindpick recently and probably is practicing a champion they don't know well.

And once you get that high up, yeah you know how to play all the roles, but it doesn't mean you know how to play all the roles at your own elo. In bronze you can play all of the roles at a bronze elo, in slver you might be able to as well. As you start climbing the ladder it gets harder to play a champion/role you don't main and do well because the enemy knows how to capitalize on your mistakes better. If you were looking at their 'normals skill' with them playing champions/roles they don't main you weren't really playing with a high plat level person. In fact Riot uses a totally different MMR for normals games based only on your solo games MMR. A lot of those people probably have gold or lower MMR because they don't really play norms and when they do it's practicing something new.
