Maybe I've been fortunate before, but I've noticed that the number of rude people has increased in my games A LOT recently. Almost every game there are several jerk bags who are quick to call you feces, or comment on your mental health, or wish harm to you. Is it because it's the end of the season? Is it that my "rank" is lower than last season???
A lot of people are burnt out from either trying to grind rank last season or trying to figureout the new one I guess.
My theory is that a lot of people heard about the new Summoner's Rift and came back to give it a try.
It isn't that there are more jerks, it's just that there are people who stopped playing before some of the more recent Player Behavior initiatives went into place, but who are coming back (with the old and harmful attitude) due to new content.
I've had a number of games lately where (toxic or otherwise) players would say something like "Oh my god, I haven't played in seven months! Everything is different!" And then they die to chickens or something.
