End-Of-Game Etiquette

Hi all!

Having seen some threads about the topic of end-of-game all-chat messages, I thought I'd bring some thoughts from a WoT forum thread I read about endgame all-chat etiquette.

These are suggestions, not requirements.

GG: Use after a close-fought game, or one in which your opponents played well. Please do not use this sarcastically. It's supposed to be a compliment to the enemy team.

BG: NO! All-chatting this really just labels you as someone who is unwilling to let the bad parts of a past game go. It's kind of sad to see someone who chats this.

EZ: Please don't chat this. It's disrespectful to the enemy team. At least some of them probably were trying to win. Chatting this at the end of a game is like rubbing salt in a wound. Nobody likes to lose, and this just adds insult to injury.

Report (player) for (whatever offense): If you want to be absolutely sure that everyone knows to report this player, I guess that you can do this. But it'd probably work just as well in post-game.

If there are any other common end-game chats, or any other thoughts about endgame all-chat etiquette, please share them!

Whether I win or lose, I typically just say 'easiest game of my life' and leave.

I say BG sometimes if either side, mine or the enemy's, has a leaver. I think it is slightly insulting to say "gg" in all chat after a team gets smashed because their adc left after dying 3 times in lane. It wasn't a "good game", so I don't say it is. Everything else I agree with.
