Cancer. Cancer never changes.

The Noxians waged war to gather slaves and wealth. Ionia built an empire from its lust for gold and territory. Jarvan shaped a battered Demacia into an economic superpower.

But cancer never changes.

In the 21st century, cancer was still implemented over the games that could be acquired. Only this time, the spoils of cancer were also its weapons: Mobilitycreep and Damagecreep. For these games, China would invade Riot Games, the US would lose to Korea every LCS, and the European Servers would dissolve into quarreling, bickering cancer-states, bent on controlling the last remaining english server on Earth.

In 2009, the storm of world cancer had come again. In two brief Q's, most of the rift was reduced to tumors. And from the ashes of cancerous devastation, a new kind of players would struggle to arise.

A few were able to reach the relative safety of the large unfavored pool of Champions. Your friends and family could be part of that group that entered that pool. Imprisoned safely behind outdated mechanics, under a mountain of nerfs, a generation has lived without knowledge of the cancerous world.

Life in League is about to change.

~ Riot banned my friend Alutrosity, he was a toxic mongolian. But he was my toxic mongolian, I will miss your incoherent screams of frustration as you took 3 years to get out of bronze.

The world of Cancer is one of sadness. Battle brings cancerous death. Death brings cancerous sorrow. The living may not hear them as the cancer eats through their very soul like space-aids infecting one's a-hole. Their voices may fall upon deaf ears as the cancer swells into a vigorous tumor that clogs their windpipe. But make no mistake - the dead... are not silent.

Soon, very soon, the cancerous cells will begin to collapse in on themselves, into the void, into a single point of infinite density from which no vaccine can defeat or destroy.

Trapped within the raging singularity.

It's beyond your control...

Now cracks a raging heart. Goodnight, cancerous prince; And may flights of yasuos sing thee to thy rest.

Cancer... has changed. It's no longer about the community, balance or fun. It's an endless series of ranked battles, fought by tryhards and Koreans. Cancer, and its consumption of life, has become a well-oiled machine. Cancer has changed...
