Legit way to reduce your ping

So I was bitching about my high ping on the boards and a guy recommended that I try Haste: https://haste.net/

I figured it was one of those typical garbage things that doesn't work, but the guy seemed cool so I gave it a try. My ping hasn't been under 100 in a long time and that Haste thing actually had me in the 80's for ping. I mean it's not huge but every little bit helps. Just sharing in case anyone else didn't know about it either.
