Why did Tryndamere make an AMA on communication on Reddit instead of on the boards?

I posted there because it was in response to a thread that was located there and I wanted Redditors to see it.

Yeah. I really thought that Riot would start making big posts like that on their own website rather than Reddit with these boards. They no longer have the excuse that they don't like the format/the format is bad for that kind of post.

Since coming to this board, I have seen very few comments from Riot staff that have an ounce of substance. Clearly, the message is the opposite of open door policy.
