@Riot. When it comes to making skins, is the only thing you care about money? Sure seems like it.
I don't see why you guys don't try to make skins for all champions, because you obviously don't. (To make this short and less repetitive, "??? has gotten ?? skins" I'm just going to put a + sign) Lux +2, Sejuani +2, Nasus +2, Ahri +2, Jayce +2, Ashe +2, Gnar +3, and this list goes on for champions that have received 2 or more skins (not including Chromas) in the last 2 years before other champions have received any since then. Champions you haven't even bothered to touch in the last 2 years (not including Chromas and in terms of making a skin) include Rumble (3 years), Zyra (3 years), Victor (3 years, Rengar (3 years, not including the SSW (2 years ago) because that's just a tradition, not something you did in itself), Lee Sin, Anivia, Renekton, Cho Gath, and this list goes on as well.
Me, as well as every single player who has a champ they like that happens to be under the 2nd list, wants to know what makes you create skins for champs like the first list.
Idk about anyone else, but I bet your answer can be nailed to just a few short ones.
1.) Money. 2.) Champion play rates (whether that may be by the pros or just in general). 3.) Possibly even ban rates in Ranked games. 4.) Meta.
The way you come out with skins doesn't seem like it's in your players' best interest, seems more like what you can profit. Although this won't necessarily stop people from playing your game, it can, and does, bring down your reputation and how players see, feel, and share about certain aspects of your game such as this, with other players or people (which can drive away possible new players rather than attract them).
Be honest with us.
