@Riot. When it comes to making skins, is the only thing you care about money? Sure seems like it.

I don't see why you guys don't try to make skins for all champions, because you obviously don't. (To make this short and less repetitive, "??? has gotten ?? skins" I'm just going to put a + sign) Lux +2, Sejuani +2, Nasus +2, Ahri +2, Jayce +2, Ashe +2, Gnar +3, and this list goes on for champions that have received 2 or more skins (not including Chromas) in the last 2 years before other champions have received any since then. Champions you haven't even bothered to touch in the last 2 years (not including Chromas and in terms of making a skin) include Rumble (3 years), Zyra (3 years), Victor (3 years, Rengar (3 years, not including the SSW (2 years ago) because that's just a tradition, not something you did in itself), Lee Sin, Anivia, Renekton, Cho Gath, and this list goes on as well.

Me, as well as every single player who has a champ they like that happens to be under the 2nd list, wants to know what makes you create skins for champs like the first list.

Idk about anyone else, but I bet your answer can be nailed to just a few short ones.

1.) Money. 2.) Champion play rates (whether that may be by the pros or just in general). 3.) Possibly even ban rates in Ranked games. 4.) Meta.

The way you come out with skins doesn't seem like it's in your players' best interest, seems more like what you can profit. Although this won't necessarily stop people from playing your game, it can, and does, bring down your reputation and how players see, feel, and share about certain aspects of your game such as this, with other players or people (which can drive away possible new players rather than attract them).

Be honest with us.

The game is free to play.

Please, continue to vilify a company for trying to make profit off its main source of income.

They have to care.

You kinda have no evidence of the formula they're using and all the reasons you listed don't make sense. Rumble, Lee Sin, and Viktor were popular pro-scene picks. A lot of the champions you listed ARE in the meta atm so I don't see why those matter.

Designing skins is an artistic process. If their artists just don't feel motivation create an alternate dimension version of a champion, then we can't force them.

You do understand their ENTIRE BUSINESS MODEL is based around selling skins and such, right? OFC it's for money.

The way you come out with skins doesn't seem like it's in your players' best interest

This sentence makes me want to drink. Heavily.

Morgana just got a skin at Halloween. Rumble has a legendary skin. And I suspect older champs like Chogath and Anivia are on the update list. When Taric and Yorick got upgraded, their existing skins were improved significantly, but stayed at the same price point, which was really nice.

I don't really understand with how popular viktor has been why he hasn't received a new skin in 3 years. But I mean, it makes sense to pick popular champions to make skins for. While it gets them more money, it also pleases a larger number of players.

For everyone posting about they HAVE to make money off them, or they HAVE to care about money, etc, whatever you want to throw at it meaning the same thing. I'm not saying that they shouldn't care about money, or that it shouldn't be the first priority on their list, that's not what I'm saying at all.

Its kinda obvious why they use the popular champions. A company needs money to run.

Obviously it's a free game and they need money to do shit, I never once mentioned anything about reducing prices or making something free, there's always going to be a cost for skins, they even have chromas, ward skins, summoner icons, and chests/keys for possible unavailable things. Not even including things off of the client like clothes/toys etc. My question is, for the reason they make skins for the champs like in the first list, for example on a scale of 1-10, how far down the scale is doing it for their players (all) best interest or at least trying to spread the love through out all champs? I mean, they haven't done anything with some champs in several years.
