Patch 6.0 means season 6?
I'm fairly new to League, does Patch 6.0 mean season 6? I mean, I want to do my first provisionals this season at least once but I want to get in at least Silver so I'm a bit tense.

the patches last season when to season.patch it doesnt stop after 9 it will have double didgets after the . dont think of it as a number it is season and patch last season had a 4.13, 4.14, etc. the season ends in october this season i believe
Typically we get up to about X.14 or more between each season.
We won't reach 6.0 until preseason 6 starts, but we have quite a few patches to go until then.
