Silver mmr feels off

So i been binge playing lol at my grandparents house because the pope came to philly so i got nothing to do. Now lets get into my ranked career(pft) I started lol after a friend recommended it since he knew i was a dota 2 beta tester. So i started playing got to level 30 all i wanted to main was fizz. Now the problem with that is because fizz was perma banned every game and so was my backup annie. So i do my placements and i just lose my shit because i can't play fizz so i end up just trolling because lol was not my main game yet. After that i got silver 3(damm son) but i got demoted to bronze 2 after tilting in a binge playing steak during summer. Now there is the current season. I went 6/4 in promos lost like 2 because of trolls and i ended up in bronze 5(fml). So i was like puck riot not gonna play ranked. Do i started playing normals on regular. Then i just started getting into rank again because my toxic ass friends would not leave me alone about being bronze. Now i am silver 4(started from middle and now i am back all my friends still in plat). Ok so my mmr should be good right? because clmbin from bronze 1(start of this vacation) to silver 4(damm son) my mmr should be either silver 3 or higher. I am rolling in with a 70% win rate sometimes higher. So why am i now gaining 17 lp. I don't get why the system is trying to slow u my climbing. I went on a 4 game hot streak like 3 times how can my mmr be bad. IThis reminds me of my mmr when i was stuck in bronze one and was gaining really low amounts of lp even though my games were filled with silver playrs.

Lp gains arent related to mmr

LP gains are entirely influenced by MMR. High MMR means you play opponents higher than your current rank, which means you gain more LP on a win (and lose less on a loss). The reverse happens as well if you have low MMR.

Im pretty sure you dont gain extra LP for beating higher level opponents.

You do. It's the system's way of moving you up more quickly if you're consistently beating opponents that have significantly higher MMR than your own. It's also why some people see very small LP gains on a win - If your wins are coming off of people who are significantly lower than your own rank, the system doesn't want you progressing as if you were beating people of your own rank.

The Average MMR for this league is 1,067. 1,015beta MMR

your mmr is a touch below the average for you league which is why you are getting 17 and probably losing (if you lose, nice record youre doing great) 17 as well. I asked similar questions a while back and apparently to hinder elo boosting and prevent massive swings riot implimented a "whoah horsey" program that reduces your gains for a while when you are on a redonk streak. Its just the way it is, keep winning youll be gold in no time.

im a silver 5 im playing with all golds(and played with all silver borders when i was bronze) i have recieved 31 lp in my last three games and am on an 11 game win streak i think you are right about them putting a squeeze on lp gains as im not getting any more also though i have never received less than 20 lp for a win

this system is stupid, and im obviously no longer on a "fluke win streak" honestly most likely one of the biggest streaks on the server atm

Ugh that is kinda annoying so what do i lose like 3 in a row and go back to climbing seriously. If i am not duel queuing what does it matter that my elo is going up really hard. If riot analyzes my history i was playing more normal and now just decided to climb seriously once i purchased enough champions. It pretty much a fuck you to any one who figures out something that works in low elo and climbs. But Scripters and people getting boosted get to breeze though ranked which feels like bull shit.
