Client crashed in champion select and caused me to take a loss in my series

I was about to hope into a game as I had just gotten into my series. I had just been demoted and now it was time to win my series. I had been given 1 win and was about to get that second one. I entered champion select and got most of the way through it until a message popped up saying my lolclient has stopped working and that the program will now close. This frustrated me and now I'm 1-1 in my series. This next game shouldn't be a problem, but I just don't think that's exactly fair. My client has been doing this more and more often recently.
