Does one report make a difference?

So I was recently in a normal game with an obvious group of 4 people. I was the jungle and received excessive harassment and verbal abuse for no apparent reason, so I just muted them and farmed the Jungle until the game was over. I could tell by the /all chat that my muted teammates were telling the other team to report me for "refusing to communicate" etc...and obviously they're going to believe the 4 over me. So What i wonder is after the game I get all these faulty reports, will my one report for my teammates even be looked at, or does it take multiple reports on one occasion for the situation to be noticed?

My understanding is that reports flag a particular game, so whether you got one report or 9 doesn't really matter. If you accumulate enough flagged games you will have issues.

So to answer the question in your title yes and no. Yes in that one report can flag one game too many and have you pulled into the system, and no in that having only one flagged game on your record will lead to no punishments.
