REMOVE LEAVER BUSTER FROM BEGINNER BOTS

I had a power outage today where I live due to a heavy storm and I was playing Bots practicing new builds for the jungle when it happened after a couple hours I logged back on to find a message forcing me to sign a stupid I AGREE note I was so angry cause our katakana was 37 and 0 with a penta and we had no deaths on the team. It needs to be removed from bots at least for level 30s cause I'm pretty sure we can carry in bots and I'm sure people wouldn't mind someone leaving giving them more kills and a better time.

why? to teach new players that leaving a game is ok? if you queue up, you commit to play for a certain time. if you get dc'ed once every blue moon noone cares. if you leave habitually, it will count against you. the system is fine! Nothing worse than teaching someone bad habits.

I disagree. Leaver buster if for those who leaves continuously games. If you had a power outage, it's a seperate accident that won't happen again (hopefully). Leaver buster will eventually erase that leave. But if you keep doing it, I don't think that you will always have an excuse for a power outage / internet outage / excuse of some sort.

I agree that bots already account for it and etc. But still, you are leaving X number of player to a game. And, in a psychological way, it's better to make sure that leaving a LoL game is bad. No matter which queue.

If I really want to test something in League when I either don't know how reliabe the internet is or know it's likely to go out? I use a custom game, either solo or with a friend who knows I might DC. Otherwise, I don't start playing in the first place.

I've seen your "Care for a sick relative" excuse before and no, I don't think it's disrespectful or heartless to ask them to find someone to help out for the duration of a game. That ensures Real Life is taken care of in that situation while still allowing for the stress relief of gaming. That's taking reasonable measures.

If you can't find someone? You're better off playing single player games like Skyrim and Mass Effect or multiplayer games that don't matter if you jump in and out like Planetside 2 and Hearthstone. If League is absolutely the only form of de-stressing they use, then they should find a group and play customs.

It's no different than making sure that person is taken care of while you go for a bike ride or out to a movie to de-stress.

For all you know, one of the players you are calling 'selfish' for getting offended is someone who has a sick relative and is on at the only time they have to play uninterupted.

Bots already account for leavers. If someone disconnects, a bot goes to fountain and stops playing. There's no reason for leaverbuster to function in bot games.

The I Agree message is just a reminder to not leave, it has no effect upon you for doing it once.

My friend lives out in a more countryish area and is prone to disconnects either from bad internet or the occasional memory issue. They never intentionally leaves games and has racked up a 20 minute timer on leaverbuster. It's annoying because I go out of my way to play bots with them[they only play bots] and they end up with a disconnect every other game. She wants to earn IP for new champs while playing the game but leaverbuster makes it really hard to do for them.Customs don't give IP so that's not an option either, bad internet sucks Amumu item 3070

Ok your excuses don't matter since everyone deals with the same thing and most of the community manages just fine. In fact most of the community doesn't even know Leaverbuster exists because they don't have it happen often enough to even be a issue for them. I've had power outages, Isp issue(Comcast sucks sometimes), router dying/crashing, pc crashing etc. Yet despite playing since S1 I've never gotten so much as an initial warning from leaverbuster. I've had the firewall bug happen repeatedly during a week and still no ban.

If you can't dedicate enough time to play the game then don't complain when you get punished for leaving/dcing so often. You chose to play the game and in doing so agreed to follow Riot's rules. Riot's said you can't leave games/afk/dc too much in order to play the game and if you do you're going to get punished. It doesn't matter the reason, it doesn't matter the excuses, it doesn't matter at all. Once you've used up the systems built in leniency you're getting punished.

You say it's disrespectful of us to expect you follow the rules but you're being disrespectful of the other up to 9 people whom you're screwing over because you couldn't be responsible. We've seen it all before and the excuses are always the same few and they all don't matter. If you can be responsible then don't play. You've been told this before and we've even given you Riot's stance on the matter and theirs is the only one that matters.

If it's your 1st notice you've got nothing to worry about, that's just a heads up don't do it too often. The system has built in leniency for life's unexpected emergencies and Riots stated that many times. But if it's happening enough to get you banned/restricted then it's an issue and you should fix those issues before playing again.

You shouldn't need to be compensated for it more than you already do and if you're asking for a free ride beyond what's already being given then you're out of luck because Riot's not going to do that. The bots only afk for a bit but the issue is you queued up and you left and if you keep on leaving that's an issue that Riot doesn't want it to become a habit.

If you think or know something will come up then play a custom bot game which is actually not much different than co-op vs ai other than you control who joins and anyone can leave at any time. If you queue up then ensure you're not going to be interrupted so that you don't affect anyone else. I've had friends have to leave for real life stuff so it does happen.

But again Riot's not going to change the rules for a small minority of players who either can't handle their time or can't plan better or shouldn't queue up if they have other responsibilities. They do however give you several get out of jail cards so to speak. It's up to you to use them wisely.

Only for level 30 players though. It's unfair to leave a level 10 player in a 2v1 situation in bottom lane. Bots do sometimes go back to base if a player disconnects though, which is good, but that should be a tad more reliable.

Or, since it's coop vs ai, replace the player who's disconnected with a bot.
