Never ask for reports. One report is enough to trigger the system. 1 report = 9 reports.

Asking for reports is considered harrasement, and someone can report you. That game will be flagged for a future review against you.

telling the enemy team my ryze went afk and should be reported isn't harrasement. also 1 report = 0 reports, nobody ever gets punished for anything when they get reported, its only if they make it public. ive been playing this game for 5-6 years and ive only gotten the '' your report helped us punish a toxic player'' message once, last year, they system dosent work

They can tell if he's afk and can make their own decisions upon it. If they decide to report him for AFK (which I have without being asked) then they will. I have gotten that message dozens of times.

The feedback message only pops when your report is the one that triggers the review. The system works fine.

I actually did a bit of research on the subject and went through countless Rioter posts about it. Please do the same.

I won't even try and imprint any knowledge on you in order for us to have the discussion. You either research and know how it works, or you speculate and maybe get it wrong ( which is your case ). Ask a rioter about it. Or submit a support ticket to general questions. It's all a few clicks away.

PSA: Whether someone gets reported by one person or all nine for a single game, that game is flagged the same way. To trigger a punishment, that person has to get reported across multiple games, not by multiple people within the same game. Asking people to report somebody is itself against the rules, and is more likely to get you punished than the person your trying to stack with reports.
