Afk and Losing in ranked

I feel as if it is unfair to have someone leave 20 minutes into a game and have them 4v5. Can riot please incorporate a policy that the team with only 4 players dont get accounted for that loss in placements or promos. It's unfair to have a disadvantage so early in the game.
