Alpha Not running?

So i downloaded the alpha yesterday, was pretty pumped. but today i tried to get on and its nowheres on my laptop, yet it says its been downloaded. no icon on desktop, nowhere in my installs. I reinstall it, and when i try to run it, it crashes. Wut?
