On my way to work, I was thinking about what other people do in the car while they're on their way to work. Most people look so bored. (not that I can blame them, LA traffic is terrible.)
So, whatcha doin?!
I walk from my bedroom to my computer and sit down. While my computer boots up, I eat blueberries.
... Working from home has potentially spoiled me.
I intensely focus on the road ahead of me so I don't run into the cars on either side (motorcycle commuter)
I can't find a job right now, so... :/
I really thought it would be easier to get hired with a Master's degree, but it appears I was wrong.
Mostly listen to Sci-fi audio books while riding my scooter :)

There's always radio talk shows and audiobooks.
iPad and music. The Times crossword. Warhammer Quest. Or sometimes, I watch something I downloaded on iPlayer. It's a 55 minute train journey.
If it's morning commute, I try not to fall asleep =o. Commute home, I sing, or hum since I'm bad with lyrics, as loud as I can to KROQ or my phone music.

I like to listen to podcasts, specifically LoL related ones like trinity force podcast
mostly thinking about life/work/daytoday-problems...or just enjoying the nice weather. But I´m lucky enough I can walk to work. At times I had to drive i usually just listened to some good music and chilled (though on the way home i sometimes just had to shout loudly in the car to leave a bad day behind me).
Short drive to work.. Stressful job so I like to listen to soothing music (typically Dean Martin and the boys) or listen to whatever Disney movie the kids were watching in the back seat (9/10 it's Tangled) these things just relax me and make the entry to my work day more barable 😀
Audio books. Going through wheel of time again, it's been 15 years since I started the series so it's all new again.
I give speeches about things to myself in the car. I always imagine people looking at me think I'm using bluetooth... or that I'm crazy.

I usually chat with my wife if I go into the office (40min/50 mile freeway commute) She prefers to drive and I don't mind having a sexy chauffeur. I work from home a few days a week. I don't gain much but some people inter-action (which is nice) by going in the office since my team is all over the US.
The days at home I make my fresh ground coffee and coffee while the laptop takes forever to boot up and login. Gotta love corporate mandated encryption programs that decrease productivity.
I take a nap while commuting, or play Conception on my PSP (It's the original Japanese version, there's no English format)
