Top 10 Most Difficult To Deal With Snowballed Champions

Whats everyones opinions about the most difficult to deal with snowballed champions? theres a lot of factors and variations about this so nobody could possibly be right, i just wanna hear some different opinions and reasons, especially compared to my list.

the factors im taking into account mainly include, their impact on the map, in teamfights, at objectives+turrets and the difficulty of killing them. this is assuming you and your team have an average decent comp, that you're all fairly competent at them, and that you're all slightly better than average kiters

ive mainly avoided those who have a strong reliance on takedowns for powerups/ability resets like kat, trist and jinx

10 - Trundle

hes a strong duelist. he can be tanky, which works well with his passive sustain. he has a movespeed+atk speed buff. his pillar is a great displacement spell (a knockback, that can cancel channeled abilities+ teleport) thats also great at disrupting teamfights and movement in chokepoints. his ult is really boring but it does a lot of damage especially to tanks. not so easily kiteable with his 2 zone-altering abilities but not higher on my list cos he has no AOE damage so although hes a good duelist, good kiting will mean he loses any 1v3

9 - Jayce

one of the strongest and longest range poke spells in the game. its a huge chunk off your health when hes only 1 level above you, when hes fed and he hits 3 people at once he just singlehandedly won his team whatever teamfight was going to proceed. hes also got a great varied kit that can be hard to duel with on equal level, but when utilised well, and when hes fed, he'll destroy anyone with 1 round of his abilities. he doesnt build very tanky and his only disengage is a single target knockaway though. a decent all round solo laner with exceptional poke, similar to varus, but just like him, once the enemy teams on top of him (giggity) theres not much he can do

8 - Aatrox

deceptively hard to kill at all stages of a match from having probably the greatest sustain in the game. although he offers less as a duelist than trundle and less utility than jayce, not much people can pinpoint his potential to die or to even kill in lane. despite a lot of people underestimating him and his higher chance for potential to snowball, he still cant really carry a game outside of splitpushing to inhib turrets. although his AD+atk speed steroids can easily make him one of the strongest 1v1 duelists in the game, hes easily kiteable, his Q is extremely yolo, and his ult, just, makes him a better duelist.....hes higher on my list just cos he has a revival passive, for some reason, warlords bloodlust must make him so much more annoying and harder to kill and having no mana and such high sustain means he can staunch absolutely anywhere taunting his enemies to kill him cos he has 6k gold to spend and he “cbf'd recalling”

7 – Xin Zhao

pretty similar to aatrox, I guess hes higher cos his dash+slow is point-and-click and his knockup has an autoattack reset. he has a lot more lane/kill pressure, despite it being so obvious. ive also put him over lee sin just cos lee sins abilities dont allow for decent DPS against a potential assassination target, unlike xin whos slow+knockup+atk speed steroid offers at least a great distraction/kill threat against a high priority enemy target. hes got a passive %armor shred which is rare, and great for punishing, along with your team, an overstepping tank peeler. his biggest weakness is an escape mechanic, but who needs to escape when you're fed and you can kill all of them. either way you've still got the AOE ult disengage, and this might be a good time to use that "flash" spell that riot allows him to use, for some reason. he also usually builds tanky so if he was snowballed you'd be running for the hills before his 2nd knockup

6 - Volibear

obviously the least threatening and hardest to snowball on my list. the problem is that, even though hes strongest as a full tank, he still has such great duel potential, hes naturally incredibly hard to kill when hes fed, hes got a movespeed spell which is then also a damn displacement spell (he flips you bro), and all this while being a jungler, probably the most effective full tank jungler (zac doesnt have a flip, bro). probably also the most dangerous jungle peeler, now that nautilus is a top laner, but then again nautilus is never fed, hes just impossibly hard to kill, but he cant kill you with his bear claws, or flip you, bro. its always smart to not be near any strong bruisers that are running at you with increased movement speed. its a bit easier to avoid garen cos its so much more obvious what he does, he silences, then he spins and does damage, then maybe he'll ult and kill you. with a fed volibear, if he flips you, the moment he presses the R button on his greasy little keyboard, i mean when he activates his thunder claws, you're already dead. volibear has a slow even after THAT, and hes also got a mini little garen execution himself

5 - Nasus

the one champ with innate lifesteal as his passive haha.....very immobile champion, easily kiteable. so its only fair that he can do the same to you. if you're the only champ "sent" to deal with him, he has a lot easier time using his single target spells against his single target. absolute monster of a splitpusher. if the enemy doesnt kite properly he could very well 1v5 them, like literally. people use "1v5"ing as a term a lot, but the sustain that nasus has is surprisingly more annoying than aatrox's, in that, its a "burst" kind of sustain, because you dont see him lifestealing slowly and determine easily whether you can kill him or not. each and every time you're about to kill him, he Q's his closest victim and the last 5-10 seconds of pure damage against him is totally negated. the most cancerous thing about his snowballing is that he gets stronger even past his 6 items, even past selling his boots for a 2nd triforce. if you've ever wondered who would win the match with your opponents playing past 60 minutes, you look and check to see, and remember, who had graciously chosen nasus in champ select, for now the cycle of post-60 minute games continues. he will stack, and they will back

4 - Draven

the only real ranged champ on my list. with a collective effort hes actually pretty easy to blow up. but thats the only reason some dont consider him as OP as others (me). in the heathens of solo queue this beast unleashes the biggest DPS of any champ in the game, easily. with all my other picks having such great dueling potential, none have a kit that enables him to go in AND out so easily as much as dravens. having the most dangerous AD steroid in the game, all thats needed of the rest of his kit, is a movespeed+atk speed buff, and a displacement spell for disengage, and by golly thats what hes got. despite this excellent synergy with his greatest strength as a "bursting DPS ADC" after having used the small movespeed buff and missed his skillshot knockback, then he becomes really susceptible to CC, burst, and death. his ult doesnt help him with this unfortunately, as its only a means for a greater chance of snowballing, which is something draven relies on oh so heavily to stay relevant in the late game

3 - Jax

he would easily have been 1st on my list if it werent for the fact that his strength and damage comes from people dumb enough to stay to fight him. fortunately this list is for champs that have already gotten fed, not for how easy it is to get fed (maybe that ones for another time). jax's kit makes him absolutely MADE for dueling. hes got the strongest attack speed steroid in the game, that goes along with a decent utility based kit consisting of a dash and a stun. more of his kit is just an enabler to lure in those suckers that think they can take him, with an armor+MR buff for an ult, and an autoattack blocker that allows HIM to still attack, for some reason....gr8 b8 m8. theres no other champ that benefits more from just triforce into full tank than jax, and no other bruiser that can blow you up faster after stunning you than jax (dont gimme that panth bs son)

2 - Yasuo

truly the pinnacle of how intoxicating crits can be to the game (intoxicating being, it makes you toxic when you're crit from a champ with a shiv and 1 other crit component....) unlike many other fighters yasuo absolutely needs at least 2 offensive items, leaving much less to be utilised for tank items. its mostly common to use a 3rd slot for something like a BT or BORK for extra sustain. unlike jax who needs autoattacks, and unlike draven who needs to push a button to become stronger, all yasuo needs to do is be in melee range, and hes already massively chunking your health with just autoattacks, and by the time you realise you need to run away, hes Q'd you, and you're literally dead, and finished, and thats it. the only chance you have against a fed yasuo is when hes actually built 3 more damage items and your team manages to blow him up. otherwise, late game with a BT, a visage and a couple other tank items he'll just be toying with your team dashing around looking for the perfect angle to knock as many people up to finish them off with his ult

Honorable mentions

Vlad - more cancerous sustain Shyvana - easily avoidable, even with frozen mallet shes kiteable against more than 1 opponent Singed - even more easily avoidable, unless your teammates still underestimate the poison, even with rylais.... Leblanc - strongest burst in the game, but incredibly squishy and susceptible to CC. aim blitz Q at distortion portal ???? profit Hecarim - tanks shouldnt be this fast Chogath - tanks shouldnt have the greatest non-ultimate ability in the game Darius - darius shouldnt be tanks Mundo - tanks shouldnt be unkillable, wait Caitlyn - now headshots from further away!

Dishonorable mentions

Teemo - Grrr

1 - Yi

the cleanup king. his dash is actually a blink, which actually makes him untargettable, and if he gets a kill he can do it again straight away, also it can crit, just cos.....btw if you have a slow, if you're over 90 of the champs with a slow, FUCK OUTTA HERE, HE DONT CARE BOUT NO SLOWS BITCH HE ALREADY ON YOU GET OUTTA THERE

rito plz nerf yi

TLDR LIST 10 Trundle 9 Jayce 8 Aatrox 7 Xin Zhao 6 Volibear 5 Nasus 4 Draven 3 Jax 2 Yasuo 1 Yi

You forgot about Fiora, who can become immune to death and destroy planets with her true damage.

what about Fizz? I know my elo is bad but I see terrible fizz players spiral out of control making the game rather difficult. Then you get a player who actually knows what he is doing and it becomes incredibly difficult.

Akali if she can actually manage to get the snowball rolling...you're fucked. Evelynn pink wards counter her? More like free gold before she gets more kills. (again, only after she's already started snowballing) Annie ... Kindred snowball mechanics within snowball mechanics, what is this? Snowception?? Rengar Riven muh counterplay, muh mechanics. none of it matters anymore once they're fed Veigar Syndra that point and click instant death feels so good Tryndamere ENDLESS RAGEQUIT...endless splitpushing...endless escapes, endless resource bar, endless sustain.... Talon I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took a cutthroat to the knee

Twitch also can be a snowballer if fed early on. Twitch's most popular setup is obviously the assassin build, but if you ignore that and go for straight ADL like good ole Yi...its done, its over, that's all she wrote. (This is why I play twitch in PVP...muhahaha)

Twitch can spam stealth upon a champ kill, his ULT is a great asset seeing as how item 3085 takes on the ED from the ult strikes...and if twitch has the proper masteries in place...yup, thats it. If your disabled, that extra 2.5% dmg and any armor penetration WRECKS tanks.

Lets not forget about Sivir, Ashe and Quinn. These three ladies built similar to Yi or an ADL twitch...are an annoyance.

Dont believe me? Build an ADL assassin yourself and see the amount of chaos you can create...and watch the salt flow! [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

I think Brand beats a few of those. Especially taking into account how easy he is to play.

Tristana is actually surprisingly good at snowballing. Every time you come back to lane, she just jumps on you, E, autos, jumps again, keeps auto'ing, maybe ults, you die, and she jumps out. Rinse and repeat.

Riven playing this bitch should be a bannable offence

A list full of melee champs? Sad. Ranged champs are much better at carrying while ahead because they can just sit behind their tanks and have their whole team peel for them. Draven Kalista Jinx Vayne Veigar Kayle KogMaw Kindred Viktor TwistedFate Tristana Xerath

I dont agree with the Draven pick at ALL since he is an adc, and in the end can always be dealt with since he's to squishy.

I would highly suggest replacing ANY of those top 10 with Darius, as of right now he is stupidly OP. A Q with an extremely OP heal that seems to completely ignore Grevious Wounds effects AND can be raised, and still follows through even when stunned. Extremely high starting stat output. The ability to 1v5 an entire team, even when the opposing team is doing great. Honestly, if his Q would be nerfed to hell and back, Darius would probably be an extremely balanced champion, but as of right now he is a nightmare to fight, and usually having one on either team ends in an automatic win for that team, just because its so damn easy to keep him alive, out DPS pretty much anything, and heal more than an ADC with a ton of Lifesteal AND a pet Soraka tearing her own life out to keep that ADC alive, just with his Q alone.

Its getting to the point where Spirit Visage seems to be a mandatory thing on Darius now, not because he needs MR, or its a good item, but just because it makes that heal so much more OP. A Darius with any more forms of healing (or god help us some kind of massive shield) and its GG, no way to recover, no way out, no way back. I have seen a single Darius completely decimate a WINNING team, as in zero turrets lost, minions pushed to Inhibs, and the Darius's team arguing with each other over who's fault it was. Then all of a sudden, the Darius shows up out of the blue and decimates the WINNING team, and pretty much removes ANY hope of winning. He snowballs so hard and so easily...
