Magic Rush: Heroes - Android Apps on Google Play

Has anyone ever gone on their phone, or on facebook, or app stores and noticed ads for a game that looks suspiciously like LoL? I have seen a few ads for games like "magic rush." I have no idea if riot okay'd this, but i just wanna make sure this gets out there and is known about by riot. Has anyone else seen stuff like this? (sorry if this is the wrong board, wasn't 100% sure where to post this one)

Whenever there is success, there will always be copy-cats or people jumping on the band-wagon. As far as I understand this, it's not illegal to have something similar, but it is illegal if they are downright copying.

I didn't see anything on their Google Play page that looked like a direct copy cat.

League of Angels is probably the biggest offender, it seems like this Magic Rush game is definitely taking elements but not necessarily direct plagiarizing.

That being said, a lot of these duplication companies are based in China where copyright laws basically don't exist. There's not really much Riot can do, from a legal standpoint, and it'd probably be a waste of resources to pursue a lot of these companies unless it got significant enough to take a sizable chunk of their profits.

Played a few hours, and other then some small visual differences, the first 6 Heros I got are literally ashe, ryze, lyona, Lucian, Janna, and ziggs. Skills and all are WAY too similar. Not a bad game though.... Just feels like riot should have done it first
