Just a tip if FPS drop has been effecting your play
This is just a tip to players that might experience FPS drop during game even if you have a GPU. This has happened to me, however, I run league on a laptop so not like others I'm not to serious on it. My fps when I got this laptop was around 160 on highest settings at ALL times. But as updates went on and the game started taking more my GPU started to not be enough. In team fights my fps would drop to 15 and I wouldn't be able to contribute to my team. I've got on the boards and seen this has been a reoccurring problem for a lot of players. There was one thing I tried (maybe saw on the boards) that seemed to work. I just want to pass it on to other players so that maybe it might just help them out. Just maybe though this might help at least one person.
**READ HERE IF YOU DON'T CARE PRIOR **
Go into your "video" settings. You are able to change many things from here; graphics, details, and more. One thing here is the screen mode. IF you have FULL SCREEN selected then the computer will focus mainly on league (with my computer this causes a thermal lock on the CPU.) In the drop down there is Windowed and **Borderless **. Select Borderless and it should actually ease up the work of the CPU and GPU.
Being in Borderless also fixes any ISSUES WITH ALT+TAB out of game and causing the game to freeze.
This is just something simple that maybe someone will find on the boards and try it and it'll work for them. I hope to see you all out there and enjoying the game to its fullest.
P.S/ Borderless will sometimes bug out when it updates and appear stretched. Remember this. Just change it back to Full screen, apply, and back to borderless. 95% of the time it fixes it right away. if it doesn't work then just switch modes around till it does; windowed, full screen, and then to borderless again. It will reset the client to your screen.
Have a good day y'all [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
