Detoxifying Toxic Players?

Anyone have any tricks? I've tried everything from asking politely to ignoring. Are there just bad apples that you can't change?

I find the majority of them don't know or don't care about their behavior - best to ignore and report.

They're looking for attention, don't give it to them. They want you to go "omg, wtf ekko stop feeding!"

Encase yourself in lead. Toxicity can't get through led.

Ignore, mute if it's bad enough, then report.

If asking politely doesn't work, ignore and/or mute him/her and report the player after the game. Some people just want to get a rise out of others, and ignoring them completely denies that.

People can change, but generally not over the course of 1 game. It is best to just mute/ignore and report. Hopefully they get a punishment and will change later on.
