Good midlaners for yoloq

Disclaimer: I didn't know where to put this, so I just put it in misc.

I need a strong midlaner for ranked. I've been trying to get better and a few more champions before I did ranked, and I almost feel like I have enough. I have four midlaners, heimer, veigar, akali, and katarina. Heimerdinger is considered a trollpick and isn't reliable. Veigar isn't popular but is good against most ap champions. Akali is banned a lot. Katarina is banned a fair bit and isn't reliable and easily countered.

What are some good midlaners that you guys recommend for provisionals/bronze/silver?

Annie: Easy and crazy burst, mage Zed: Amazing burst, assassin LeBlanc: Strong snowballer, falls off, assassin

Assassins are good in soloq since they have escapes and burst, as well as huge snowball potential.

Whoever you're comfortable with is who you should play. Don't pick a champ just because they're known to snowball hard unless you're willing to put in the effort and learn them very well.

I recommend you mess around in normals until you feel really comfortable with 2 champions in particular per position, and then just spam them in ranked.

For midlane soloqueue, I enjoy playing Ahri and Orianna. Orianna is a late game scaling champion with an excellent teamfight and a lot of support abilities. Ahri is more of an assassin-style mage who also has a pretty decent teamfight due to her AOE and mobility.

I like to use Lux, as a Lux main i know that alot of people wont take you seriously. But the thing with her is, diving Lux is stupid because she can just Q or E you under tower, her W allows her to survive an ignite, and her long range means champions like Fizz and Yasuo will be having a hard time hurting you without assistance from their jungler, who as i said before, cant dive you.

She also counters Zed, Malzahar, and Hiemerdinger, so thats a +1 for each.

Heimer is a god if you are smart about turret placement and making sure to use that extra gold you get from csing everything to keep both sides warded up. As heimer even if you are loosing lane you should be able to set up a farm lane with your biggest worry being ganks (hahahahah ganking heimer)

Veigar, does what he was made to do. Completely burst down other mages, and if you are great with his e nothing should be able to touch you without paying the price.

LeBlanc. High skill cap to use her to the best of her abilities. Mostly about playing mind games and not being obvious oh and turret diving like a pro.

Ziggs. I love ziggs. He has been my go to since I started. Insanely long range, and still powerfull after his so called nerfs. His q goes so much further than people realize, and he is a pretty hard counter to Azir who is very popular right now.

Teemo. Be carefull who you pick him into mid but very very fun to beat up those squishy mages.

Assasins arent really my cup of tea so cant give you advice on Zed, Talon, Ect
