never surrender mentality

alright so I fully understand the whole possibility of coming from behind in plenty of games. A lot of times all it takes are a few mistakes from the enemy team and playing smart and you can come back from being down by quite a bit. Then there are those other times... those games where some how, some way your team has died 30 times in the first few minutes of the game and before you know it the other team has 4 dragons, just killed Baron, has all of their towers left, your team is losing your last inhib and you're down 44-3. You try to end this horrific nightmare of a game because hey, its just normals and you want to start up a new game because you might not have that much more time to play. All of a sudden your vote fails 3/2 and when you ask them why in the world you could possibly vote no after whats going on in this game their response is some super heroic "i never give up, fight to the end!" or "your'e a coward for trying to give up" or my favorite "your're a pussy for surrendering, grow some balls you pussy" I've played collegiate rugby for the last 4 years and I totally understand playing it out until the end and fighting for it even when your teams down 76-6 and even if you scored a try (touchdown) every 2 minutes for the rest of the game you still couldn't come back but you still play your heart out until its over. I'm sure there are plenty of real life examples out there when some cause is lost but you fight for it anyway cause you're the kind of person who doesn't like to quit and you're going to keep fighting for it until the end. Now, I don't know how you all feel about this, but to me, league of legends, or any video game for that matter does not fall within the realm of things that you whip out the tough guy "never give up" mentality. I don't know if it's that they are just young kids looking to act tough and want to be the hero or if it's people who just literally have nothing actually important in their real lives so league becomes the only thing that they can be that devoted and dedicated towards. I don't know, but whatever it is, it seems ridiculous that wanting to "fight to the very end" and not being a "quitter" is a good reason to not want to just end a league of legends game early. Am I the only person who feels this way or are there other people out there who find the whole "you're a coward for surrendering" thing kind of ridiculous? And again, we're talking normal, not even ranked matches lol

I am not trying to bitch about anyone or rant about people who do this, I'm really just making the post to see if other people feel similarly to me and I am curious if I am the only asshole out there who find this annoying lol

In ranked, I pretty much never surrender. We would have to be insanely behind for me to vote yes.

Anything else, if we can realistically come back, I will not vote yes.

But to be fair how many times do you get those game? From my time playing this game there is always that winning chance even when you are far behind it even when other people leave! People just give up too easily. Granted I do agree that there are times when you know you just can't win, but that only rarely happens, at least for me!
