why do i have to play ranked to get a fair game?
question? i want to play new champs and try them out and practice instead of losing all my hard earned points is there a practice mode because i cant find it

There's co-op vs AI where you play against bots so you can test champions there. You could create a custom game if you don't want interference from other players, or you could go to a normal summoners rift game instead of ranked so that you don't lose any LP.
