By updates I meant like if they could just tell when the servers will be up, even the approximate time. i'd either sleep or wait then. It's annoying how they never let us know updates, all they post is something around these lines

"We're aware of a"

and then you wait till the servers come up

They dont even know! They were hacked untill the hackers stop or they figure out a way to stop it Riot doesnt even know.

Hacks and ddos are two different things
They were ddosed, which has happened before as well but they fixed it asap
Even if they don't know when they would fix it, they could give us an approximate timing and if they fail to fix everything in that timing, we get an IP boost just like how they used to give it out in season 2.
Ever since tencent bought this game. riot stopped caring about what their fanbase/playerbase thinks about the new changes in the game.

If they can atleast let out a notice or something, I'll be happy. Now they are deleting posts on boards about them being ddosed, instead of apologizing for not updating us with anything.

NA servers were DDOSed by Poodlecorp. Ive heard rumors that they took down EUW and OCE but that isnt official. Poodlecorp have hacked WatchMojo's youtube channel and RedMercy's youtube and twitter 3 days ago but both have gotten their accounts back. They are partnered with LIzard Squad. LIzard squad are another group of DDOSers who think theyre hackers and were responsible for taking down PSN and Xbox live on Christmas 2014. Lizard Squad have also taken down WoW, DIablo 3, Starcraft 2, and Hearthstone at various times.
