I dont understand why i was placed in Bronze 2. I ended the season in Silver 2 and i won 7 out of my 10 placement games but i was placed in Bronze 2?! Has anyone other experienced that bullshit or is it just normal that you get placed way lower than you actually deserve? If anyone could help me with that or tell me that he was placed as bad as me would be nice

It has happened to a lot of players.
Something about the way they decided to reset ranks but I don't think it's very fair for some people to be dropped 4-5 divisions just because Riot decided it should be like that. Quite demotivating, really. Well, if anything --- I believe you will have more chances of climbing up by earning more LP with your victories while losing a bit less whenever you lose a game.

It's the same reason Plat+ players get placed in gold, so you have room to climb and prove you are good enough to climb. To make sure it's not a fluke you even made it to silver 2. You get placed based on your MMR, NOT your previous rank or how many of the 10 games you win. Your MMR slightly drops with the rank reset so if you had average MMR before the reset, you're gonna get placed kinda far below where you were before. You have the entire year ahead of you to climb, being b2 isn't really a big deal.
Its part of the ladder reset. Ranks don't mean much right now. The thing that really pisses me off though is that as the season goes on they stop having the reset happen. LIke.... I shouldnt have to play 200 ranked games to get gold now and then some nub scrub can go 8-2 in placements in August and get gold. They really should just have all accounts end up in bronze or lower silver and have people climb like the start of the season. If you don't start playing ranked until August or September... thats on you. Hate when you hear players say "well I was silver 4" when they went 2-8 or 3-7 in their placements and then stopped playing. Most people who do keep playing ending up dropping into bronze 4 or 5.... anyways. I feel it would be less traumatic to just start in bronze 4 or 5 and try to work there way up then going like 5-30 and ending up there. Riot's system is really annoying.
