Almost 1000 games and Silver 1. Is it normal?

qq I'm not challenger.

No but seriously I'm happy to be Silver I right now and almost Gold V. I have plenty of great games and love kicking silver scrub @ss, despite having one myself. This is not a qq thread.

I'm just a bit concerned about having 873 games on my account, while most others have less than half that; some much less. (It should probably be noted I'm looking at the records for lolnexus and and lolking so if that's relevant I just wanted to make note.) Some players have 100-300 games or so on their account with the same rank as me, and some players have like 30 games. But then there's my try-hard notch on the rankings at almost 1,000 games. I feel a bit out of place with my record and well, I don't really know if it's normal to be in my situation.

So, is it normal? I've been playing ever since ekko came out, if that helps with anything.

Are you focusing on improving? If you are just playing the game you don't improve as much as if you are practicing, reviewing your games, learning from streamers, etc.

nah beeing in the same division for longer than 500games is plateu. Think about it as a working out would you wanna be the same for 2 years or would you wanna look better over the course of these 2 years just a rough example. Let's say for me it takes around 50 games to get into diamond but we are on a different level. never be happy with what you are ( considering video games....) always try to become better and go higher. Why be silver when you can focus on yourself and go gold or even plat ! ;)

I've been playing ever since ekko came out and I got diamond. But, do you have 873 games in ranked this season or total over your career? Because if it's 873 total over your time playing the game, then I think that's quite low. I have almost 500 games of ranked on my main and like 130 or so on my smurf.

Sounds like you hit your current skill wall. Just have to focus on improving and getting better/more consistent. I spent a lot of time in silver (2.5 seasons) and although I am still only gold I was not able to climb out of silver until I actively tried to get better. If your silver 1 then you most likely only need to touch up on a few things to rise into gold.

I am a slow learner so it took me a really long time to learn many things about this game. I feel I have learned to learn the game (if that makes any sense). So like I am more aware of what I am doing well and more aware of my mistakes. Just overall more aware of my game knowledge and know what I need to focus on to get better and become more consistent. Although I know some of these things, doesn't mean I can routinely do them. So that is where practice and consistency come in.
