Why do I always get matched with bad players?

During the past couple of days for every 1 game I have won I have probably lost 15. I am not a pro at League and I have my bad games but I usually end up carrying my team because I always get matched with feeders. Seriously, how does this matchmaking system work where I always have at least 1-2 people on my team every game who go 0-10 and do nothing but feed? It's so aggravating to try and help your team, but for them not to listen at all and feed some more.

that's a serious achievement because even intentional feeders sometimes can win more

Look, I'll be honest here. This is a team game, and you are 20% of every team. If your teams are bad, you're bad. Not to be rude (even though saying "you're bad" is incredibly immature with no context), it just means you need to climb and improve.

And considering how mmr works, you should be matched against teams that are just as "bad" as yours.
