Man idk if it is just me but i found hector to be CRAZY op in the game. Even against characters he should have had a disadvantage against he always dealt above average damage.

Hector is pretty much a General but with axes instead of lances, which is what gives him some extra power. Axe damage >> Lance damage. Plus his special axe that he starts with, Wolf Beil if i remember right, had better accuracy and stats than normal axes, as most Lord type weapons have, plus it does bonus damage to armored units (knight/tank/cavalry shredder since axes > lances pus bonus damage from beil). plus Armads is just crazy op as hell. 18 might and 85% accuracy which is damn good, making up a lot for most axe's low acc. [Killer axe, the high crit axe wep, has 11 might and 65% accuracy for comparison]

so yeah hector is an anti-tank tank. heck even most enemy swords barely hurt him cuz high def. if he did get hurt is was probably from lucky enemy axe hits or enemy using good weaps like silver/killer, maybe some steel if enemy has good str.
