anybody else extremely annoyed that in A New Dawn, Draven accomplished literally nothing before getting assassinated (and his allies just stood there while rengar laid on top of him for a second and growled in his face)

Not really - Draven is not half as good as he think he is*. A fact Riot seems intent on reminding us of on multiple occations; there's the A New Dawn cinematic that you refer to, and then there's the recent Summer Splash/Pool Party event, in which Draven is clearly carried by the jungler: http://eune.leagueoflegends.com/sites/default/files/styles/scale_xlarge/public/upload/pool_party_201_splash_1920_0.jpg

*Though the lack of peel was surprising to see - I didn't expect Riot to capture a bronze/silver match like they did; neither Zyra or Darius lifted a finger to help him instead of just chasing kills. And what the heck did Nautilus do that was more important than a teamfight anyway? At least Leona had the mind to do some proper supporting when she twice protected Ahri.

Had to watch the cinematic again now, just to remind myself of the teams. ^^

Nautilus was playing full AP assassin Naut that game and wanted to pull a Katarina by letting his team do most of the work and then cleaning up himself. This is reinforced by him killing Jax with only his anchor, literally blowing Ahri away with his E, using a item 3157 on the Graves ult and then nearly one shotting him later with a item 3100 proc, and finally being so squishy the Rift itself killed him.

Naut got away with two kills that fight, the best showing on his team.

honestly, i think it's more likely they started the teamfight while nautilus was respawning

So not only should Nautilus be reported for refusing to communicate by joining the teamfight so late, he was feeding as well!? O.o

It was an accurate assessment of low elo soloq. Ain't nobody got time to peel.
