Well I've experienced both and I'd pick the Sauna over Houston every time. The Sauna is nice

Houston can be nice, but you have to get up early. There's also 90% of the worlds mosquito population, but they aren't that bad. I've actually gotten my feet heat resistant and can walk barefoot on the concrete with temperatures up to 103 degrees Fahrenheit

Just bury your feet, the top layer of sand is hot, the layers beneath them are nice and cool.
