Yeah, people do actually quit though. They just don't make a big announcement. If you care enough to get emotional and make a post like that, then you still care about the game...and you're probably coming back.

I quit for almost 2 years. Early S4 was so shit I didn't touch the game until right before 5 ended. Which is a pity, because I hear 5 was good. But I didn't storm off, I just didn't feel like playing anymore.

I did exactly this. I've played a little bit season 6, but I haven't play even 100 games this season so it's highly likely I might just drop this game soon.

Hello! I am a doctor, and I'm nice enough to give a diagnosis on this one for free. DeadJokr here seems to be inflicted with stage 1 Grief and type 3 Nostalgia. For the stage 1 Grief, let it progress to stage 5 then it'll kill itself off. Type 3 Nostalgia has no known universal cures, but there are a few tested methods so experiment with those as you will.
