Then they go on about how the game was so much better back then, most of those people aren't even that old, wanna know when I started? I started playing the week of Riven's release, that was just after season one back in 2011, if anything the game has gotten better. Plus the salt goes really well with my popcorn o I really do enjoy those threads

I've started since 1934 season -14. As a senior citizen LoL was a much greater game back in the day. I can't remember why because I have alz Heimerdinger

The game has gotten better, the balance, not so much.

Now of course you can play some champions in ways that would have been hard to play before (like full ad Akali, which ive seen alot lately), but it also made some champions incredibly strong and over dominant such as bruiser Yi, after his ''nerf'' we see him a little less, but it doesn'T change the fact that every champion with devourer and Sterak's cage can faceroll everything and everyone.

I've personally been playing since Shyvana's release and I can honestly say that mid S5 was the best I've ever seen this game. I'm not sure what Riot's doing to it now and the game does legitimately feel the worst it's ever felt to me. Riots changes did make the game less fun for me at least, and I'm not going to hesitate to mention it.

Overall quality has improved, but there are some horrendous balance mistakes that put Riots 'regret' of Vlad, TF, Xin, and such to shame, such as Graves rework, Kalista, etc.

Not to mention how overloaded AD itemization is compared to everything else now with no intention of fixing AP itemization outside of minor tweaks. And don't get me started on how juggernaut items are being nerfed for ADCs using them, rather than being made melee only or having health thresholds...

They aren't living up to the quality standards that they've given us, and that's why the game was 'better' back then. They surpassed expectations constantly. They no longer try to do that.

I've been playing since Darius' release, and it's hardly the worst it's ever been. I'd argue that the tank meta was worse because games were just too damn long. Nothing ever happened.

I actually joined League late 2011. Then I wasn't able to play for years, only able to again until months recently.

i got to play a bit in alpha from my sisters account but i made mine sometime in early to mid 2010 i got to level thirty about when rumble was released the only thing i can say is that everybody wasnt as toxic and i was having fun learning Also i remember a new champ coming out every other week is was crazy

Well, i didn't exactly play per say from when i first made a League account due to internet problems, but i remember when stacking item 3068 was a legitimate build.

Like i said, i stopped playing due to internet issues, for at least a year, then another friend got me back into it and i have been playing ever since. So i have seen some shit. Like the original jungle, dear god current jungle has got nothing on it.

I don't remember when I started, but do remember quitting around the time Zac was new-ish. You wouldn't believe how much I have to catch up on, such as Soraka's heal hurting her, or the changes to Sona (what the hells was wrong with always-on auras?). Not to mention my champ pool is now REALLY tiny. I can't remedy it with IP, because I need it for runes.

i started playing right before lucian came out. thats in late 2013. Jinx is my favorite champion, she came out late 2013 as well.

i started 2009 i think and im 27 so idk i think thats pretty old considering the average age of gamers.

I'l say this. I distinctely remember games were i had to go toplane against yorick or urgot back when these champs were viable. it sucked balls they pushed you away from your wave were ahead in 30 cs but as long as you kept up in xp and made sure they didnt snowball you could win.

now if i were to apply the same strategy to lets say riven currently that would never work.

Skarner just came out when I started. The only thing I have to complain about is removal of Solo Queue. Dynamic Queue is a complete disaster. Most other things have been improvements. I also miss green wards... those were good times

I started right before season 6 and I can honestly say I think I enjoyed this game better when I didn't know what the flying flip I was doing (when playing solo). Ignorance truly is bliss. I only seem to enjoy it win or lose with friends at this point to be honest.
