People tend to express disagreement more often than agreement. That's why half the time the "the entire community hates X feature" argument is invalid and is only the product of confirmation bias. The only way to actually find evidence that a feature is disliked by the majority is to do a random sampling poll.

It was supposed to be a play on the fact that cancer kills you after having it for a while but....was kind of a joke in poor taste. Also I may have totally forgotten about the whole Cancer the crab thing.

The funny thing, is since aids is an STD, if everyone just stopped sleeping around with idk everyone that they meet for the first time... we could actually theoretically eradicate aids, just by not spreading it.

Or we could forcefully quarantine every aids carrier into a society of their own and aids would die off in at most 100 years.

Of course that's not considered ethical, but I guess it's perfectly ethical for aids carriers to go around sleeping with people, spreading the disease as far as they can.

It doesn't have to be inhumane, yet people freak out at even the mention of stopping people from having sex with every single perosn they can get their hands on.

The funny thing about ethics is that it isn't black and white. On one side, you remove a very deadly transmittable disease from the world. On the other hand, people can't "live like they normally would".

Honestly sleeping around with people when you have something that is transmittable isn't very ethical, but hey, I'm no expert. Personally I don't even like kissing (or hugging) my family when I have a cold, because I don't want them to have it.

So, it starts with HIV, which is an STD.... Sure HIV is technically the STD, but saying Aids isn't an STD is like saying that you don't die from breathing in water. You technically don't die from breathing in water, you die because air isn't able to get in your lungs because the water is in the way.

Or Just like how falling from a high place without a parachute/bungee cord/ect... doesn't kill you either. It is the sudden stop at the end.

TBH, we're dealing with a very vocal minority of players who think that a couple of hundred votes on boards is the entire community.

A couple of hours ago i got called a SJW for actually representing a logical standpoint that coincides with Riot's stance. Not like i care anyway, we're dealing with people who can't and won't understand that the majority likes DQ and that being very vocal about the issue on boards and making a bigger fuss does not mean there are more of them.

It's very easy being an ass and everyone just jumping aboard the ass train.

I have gotten the same thing. I actually got one the other day in a thread where someone was saying that Riot will HAVE to put in SoloQ if the solo players stop playing and make queue times longer, despite the fact that one of the main reasons they aren't implementing it yet is BECAUSE it will lengthen queue times for both queues.

(Sorry about the run-on sentence I am really tired right now.)

I am a professional ass. I have no shame in ksing and just reply with "Kill them faster then." I will steal your penta if it I see the chance. Because penta's are earned, not given even though you did 99% of the damage and I just whacked them once.

What you say is just going to offend them when you are not conforming to popular opinions of the Boards. There isn't anything you can do except for ignoring a majority of Boards, taking a beating from these people, or pretending to agree with them.

It happens more and more often in Gameplay Board (especially with their opinions on balance changes) and it frustrates me to no end to see people having no knowledge of statistics or the game try to judge any balance decisions made by Riot as if they know thoroughly what's under the sleeve.

It's okay to have an opinion on the game. It's not okay to judge the game merely based on your anecdotal experiences. It's not okay to bash Riot for doing something you don't know fully of.

This is completely true. I occasionally try to post useful tidbits on gameplay and it's just downvoted to obscurity. Especially if it doesn't confirm to pitchfork mentality.

It is a very frustrating system. And, honestly, I often wonder how it could be improved. Because, as has been said for generations of mankind, the mob is fickle, and doesn't know what's best for it.
