It's honestly a lot like this. At least I as Kha, I'm ALWAYS watching Rengar to see if he's good or not, which leads to /all commentary.

Then the hunt begins and suddenly both sides shut up and just tunnel vision like the bronzies at heart we are.

Pfft, getting to 16 is the easy part so long as nobody /ff's. It's beating Rengar when he's strong enough to have 10 stacks in the first place.

The hunt is heavily favored towards Rengar, because if Rengar gets shut down and can't get 10 stacks then the hunt just doesn't start until Rengo gets the stacks. Kha's just outta luck, he gets nothing besides a Victory (not that I'm complaining) but if Rengar is ahead and Kha hits 16 then Rengar gets a free Hunt unless Kha just doesn't evolve. Not to mention Kha can't force fights like Rengo can. Every once in awhile you'll get the rare game where both Kha and Rengar are equally fed and it really feels like a hunt.

-sigh- Out of probably 150 Kha'Zix games, I've only been in the Hunt MAYBE 4 times, won once by split second, never4get, other times the game ended before we had a chance to kill each other. Then there's the countless games that ended before the hunt even started. Sad bois.

Doesn't everyone, basically, if you see a kha, don't pick rengar, you get nothing and you risk giving a powerspike, on the other hand, if you see a rengar, pick kha for the chance of 4 evolutions

All this assuming you're at least decent with the one you pick

yeah, now that rengo dont lose his stacks anyway its propably gonna get maxed out anyway, in the past it was worth but now that should be updated

Pffffft. I see Kha I pick Rengar and camp the fuck out of him. Same goes for if I see Rengar, just pick Kha and camp his ass.

It works for sure, I'm just saying its a riskier thing to pick rengar after kha because of the hunt, but if you can make him feed go for it

As a player who mains both (more kha recently) rengar isn't that far superior to kha, in fact he might not be, its just meta doesn't favor kha. Also you wouldn't pick him because you would risk a fourth evolution on kha. However if you're good at the champ, it doesn't mean you should not touch him, just for medium experienced people

Games end too fast for that to matter though, the event only happens once they both hit level 16 and games snowball too easily for them to both get to that point and even if they do then it's likely everything was already decided.

The second the hunt begins all logic and care is thrown out the window and everyone just jumps in a giant moshpit. ADC's grab their many swords they have bought to increase their bullet damage and they go hacking and slashing. Mages are causing cataclysmic damage on the rift. Tanks and fighters are being piled on only to throw everyone off and crush them. Assassins are using the commotion to steal peoples wallets with using their mobility. Supports begin their revolution against their Marksmen overlords. Then somewhere in all of it Kha and Ren are playing rock paper scissors to decide on who wins
