If you're old enough to be in highschool, I'm sure you're old enough to get a job for awhile. Get a job. A few weeks and you can buy all the champions you want :).

Saved up for 6300 when I first played League of Legends. I didn't even buy runes.

I finally got tired of not having anyone, so I decided that if they release a champ I want every three months (every other champ basically) for $10, then I'll just treat it as a $3.50/mo subscription fee and save up for older champs as I find the ones I want (only 6300 ones I want at this point are Lulu and Vel'Koz anyway). Kinda sucks, but I guess that's the point of almost never discounting older champs.

i havent had to save up for a champ in like a year XD you can get like 3000 ip a day if you just grind like shit so its not that hard 2000 on a school day and 1000 for a few game day and like 300 for a 1 game day so it isnt that hard to get them imo but alot of people doesnt have the luxary (or not) of being home schooled like me so i can see how it would take a bit longer

Just play free week champions for a month... helps you to try champs that arnt 6300 that you might like. And not spending and ip for a month does more than youd think.
