the difference between Yasuo and Zed is that Zed is a good champion.
The only people I ever see complain about Yasuo are low elo/new players. That's it. For whatever reason both Zed and Yasuo are hated by the community but have poor win rates. I honestly think people just hate fun in this game.
For instance, Nunu is the most boring shit in the world to watch/play, but his win rate in insane. No one complains. But the moment a champ that's fun to play is strong (hi Zac) better nerf that shit to the ground.

Well, I happen to agree with that no matter the champion. League is a competitive game, and ranked is the embodiment of that competition. People shouldn't be playing with or against something they literally haven't had time to become familiar with in a ranked setting.
I'd be completely fine making new champs immune to bans in normal for a week, if they couldn't be picked in ranked for that same week. That way I'd be able to learn how to play against them in a proper setting.
