But, I still don't like seeing it every day, religion or no, and even though I asked for them to not post the pictures first so that I don't see it, they continue.
Oh but you can't really talk about whatever you want to; if I was talking about anything that offends the gay community, or any race (that isn't white), or anything, I'd be instantly reported and have my post removed, potentially banned, all that. You can talk about whatever you want so long as you're bashing on the "oppressors," and not talking bad about certain things / people / ideals. ^^

Niyumi1 votesHere's the thing: I have no issue with gays. If you wanna be gay, go for it, I really don't care. I just don't want it forced down my throat, I don't want to be told that I HAVE to accept it and applaud it, and I don't want to give you special treatment just because you're aberrant.
That's why I have no issue with my cousin who is now trans and gay -- because he knows I and most of my family don't like it, so he doesn't act overly gay around us, and is polite about it. He doesn't try to force us to all accept his decisions, and in return we treat him just like we normally do (and uh, my ENTIRE extended family is hardcore Catholic, so that's saying something).
What I do have an issue with is the vain little brats who go around flaunting their difference and trying to force people to love them for being different. Even if they were straight, I'd still hate them. I do not like vain people.
I also have an issue with them affording special rights because they whine a lot. When's the last time you saw a straight pride parade? Never. That'd be homophobic. But it's totally fine to have a gay pride parade, because that's not offensive to straight people in the slightest -- and even if it is, who cares, right? They're just oppressors, right?
And uh, I never talked about race at all, but I'm not a racist because I don't believe in race. Humans are humans, whether they're black or blue, short or tall. If you're a good person, I will treat you as such. If you're a shitty person, I will treat you as such. Color and culture have no input on that.
But hey, keep it up. It's really cute that you freak out about silly things like someone not accepting your decisions. Gotta love vanity. ^^
Oh and, just to keep in line with what you say, I will never respect people who can't think for themselves, and cannot exist beyond what society thinks of them.

I get your position, I'm a Christian as well, though more Protestant than Catholic, and while I dont believe in homosexuality as a institution is right either, you have to realize that that gives us no right to bash people over the head with religion/be passive aggressive hen dealing with the subject.
Quite simply because God treats all sins equally, and it would be hypocritical of us to put the spotlight on one sin, scrutinize it, and call it the worst sin ever committed when you actively steal from the company you work for, as an example.
Take me for example, I would never wish death on somebody who lives that.lifestyle, but that doesn't mean what I support what they are doing.
You want to know how to stand up for what you believe in without being called a homophone? Don't spout hatred and judgemement on people, that's all you have to do. Treat it no differently than you would treat a thief or a liar, have compassion and show Christian love is all you have to do. :)

Since Riot will never stop him from posting them, as that'd be FAR too anti-PC, I was just kind of joking to myself that maybe I'll report him since I was raised by Catholics and it's against the religion and could be offensive if I was religious and that kind of person.

That is why the topic makes me feel uncomfortable, because it is pretty much the only sin in the Bible that is being suddenly called okay to do.
I'm glad you dont hate your cousin, I dont hate anybody of that lifestyle either, it just bothers me because it is pretty much a direct violation of my religious and moral values that I suddenly have to say aloud that it's okay to do, is all.
