League's mascot is probably Teemo. Love him or hate him, everybody knows the little guy and he has been around for a long portion of the game's history and is such a prominent figure in the community.

I believe one of League's premier champion mascots is Katarina. She has been in every (released) cinematic (that wasn't a specific character intro), and is featured prominently in officially released wallpapers, as well, as the patch notes image

Girl's game WAS CANCELED! And now she is just a running gag. Hell they never even give her the same personality or get the same VA for each appearance!

Makai Wars (the game Asagi {seen in previous comment} was going to star as the main character of) was going to be made by Nippon Ichi Software, creators of the Dsigaea series among other games like Phantom Brave, La Pucella, and even Makai Kingdon. Sadly though the game Makai Wars was indefinitely postponed even though Asagi was already developed, licensed, a base model designed, and that's about all Asagi had going for her. Since NIS still had full rights to her they decided to make her into a running gag of wishing to be a main character every time she appears as a guest character in their other games. In games like Disgaea she is proficient in using the Gun type weapon which would seem to be how she would have fought in her game if it had been released.
