The same goes for me when I play support but opposite is true when I go adc and the support takes cs because they didn't get mid and needed "to stay in the game".

If it's in ranked, I'd hate the soraka more than the ally who was rude. By doing this, you get the entire team against you for being a little child instead of simply ignoring.

If it's normal, do as you like. I'd still find you acting like a child, but I have done similar things there.

Exactly in the boards people live on their own world. Inside a ranked game, Soraka would have probably been banned by the rest of her team for doing this.

Let me be devil's advocate and point out how frustrating it is to deal with little S#!%$ every game. Its evil unto evil and paints all parties as guilty. The rude player, the salty support, and the 3 idiots who did nothing to prevent the spat till it was too late and became their problem too.

But that won't help in some situations. And it can only take a second for shit to fly and ruin a game. For instance was in a game (ranked). Our Shaco didn't load in. Our Leona tells everyone to play safe so nobody dies and we can /rm. As the time approaches we hear 'first blood' 'an ally has been slain'. Our mid Fizz tried for some early cheese and fucked up. He types in 'lol'. Instantly Leo leaves her position near minions and sits under tower to spend literally 4 minutes telling Fizz he's scum that should die. Fizz of course starts shooting back.

The second things broke out I tried to play the mediator and keep things calm. Didn't help. Then top got pissed for not seeing mid's MIA and things just got worse from there. Turned into a three way shitfest and a lot of ranting in all chat giving the perfect signal to the enemy that there was a lot of bad blood which they capitalized on.

TL:DR it's not about being an idiot, there are people out there who are just having a bad day and one little trigger will make them explode and no amount of calming words would have prevented it.

Fair enough. Things happen and tempers can get out of control. I for one also had a similar game.

I was adc and our jungler wanted to break meta with a bard pick (I'm low silver so I'm not exactly sure if that really was breaking the meta, I'm kinda bad) And my support just kept giving that guy so much shit. Worst part of it was that I was premade with him and he was in my voice chat so he literally could have vented his frustrations vocally, but instead stood there and typed up a storm making himself (and due to being in a premade with him myself) look like a complete ass. I kept silent, chat wise at least, and I really regretted it since the bard probably felt like shit.

I removed that support from my friend's list and had to report him. Something I don't like because I know the guy, but still.

Honestly, I agreed with ya from the start, but I just wanted to throw my two cents and say that while it might not be possible to curb the temper or stop the salt. It is a good idea to at least try.

but I was just saying that in most cases, the people who explode in chat are the ones you were never going to be able to contain. They had a lit fuse and were already volatile, just waiting for that one wrong move to detonate and ruin the day of 4 other players. But then again you mainly notice the ones that do explode, so you may be stopping countless players not at the brink from getting there.

Okay I forgot to add that the Jungler came back. I do know that the RM system works that the person who is afk can't die. But that was what Leo had in her head. She then accused Fizz of trolling and things got out of control. I was just relaying events as they happened. I wasn't going to stop farming to give Leo a detailed guide on the /rm system. Even telling her everything was okay didn't sooth the beast.
