Never forget, Jax backstory is literally "Jax was too OP so we had to nerf him, nerfs got reverted, but he doesn't give a damn".

It's actually hilarious now that the LoL doesn't exist anymore, his backstory reads like glorified patch notes XD.

Isn't that non-canon anymore because of the Diabolical destruction of the lore. Why would they do that but refuse to update champions lore who are tied to the summoners?

well in Jax's case there's no reason and really no desire for his lore to change.

Jax's lore basically consists of "Is the Champ". Nothing more is needed or wanted.

If he got a real weapon, he would be getting penta's during the loading screen. You would finish loading to see the entire enemy team is somehow respawning and Jax is already lvl 4 O_o

certain jax skins do have a real weapon .. but no hidden passive "I have a real weapon +1AD"

vandal jax being one of those skins

(a club with nails in it counts as a real weapon)

then angler jax.... have you EVER getting a fish hook stuck in your flesh? it hurts

jaximus has a spear type hammer weapon

temple jax has a halberd

nemesis jax has a mace

I believe the restrictions called for jax to use a lamppost, a fishing rod, or a spatula as his weapon- thus the angler skin (and also the reason Urf uses a spatula).

He is not restricted, he just like to humiliate people.

Neither the League's sanctions nor his own has affected his winning ways. The League has since rescinded its sanctions, but Jax has not; he fights and fights well with his trusty brass lamppost.

Because Jax is literally the most OP champ in the lore. If he actually had a weapon??!!?? You'd see the dead bodies of riven vayne kalista fizz teemo tryndmere yasuo littered around him as soon as the loading screen stopped
