I'm really looking forward to it! I hope they do a bit more with Yang this year, though. V4 gets way more flak than it earned - the storytelling was really strong in much of it, and it's pretty clear to see that it's doing the same sort of setup work that V1 did - but I do think the lack of screentime for Yang was a big lost opportunity. She's had the least personal character development of anyone in team RWBY, and the whole depression/PTSD thing was a great chance to let her deepen and mature on-screen. Sadly, there wasn't enough time in general in v4 to get everything done that needed doing, and Yang was yet again the one whose arc was cut short. Between Yang and Blake meeting back up again (hush, Bumblebees - yes, it's exciting, I agree, but not everything is about shipping :P) and Yang's potential arc with her mom, there's good potential for some expansion there. I love what I've seen of her character so far - probably my second-favorite to Weiss, in fact - but it feels like most of her development so far has been tidbits, teases, and generally not really substantial. Makes me sad. :(

i loved v4. Given the time they had to work with they did fine with Yang imo even if it couldve been a bit better. If they spent too long on a brooding Yang im not sure it would be a good thing. Yangs a tough gal, she always gets back up, shes just never been hit this hard before. Shes always been a bit more mature than she lets on i always thought, having too look after Ruby when Summer died. We got a glimpse of that back in v2e6 with her conversation with Blake (One of my more favorite moments in the show. that being said Blake is probably still the most mature of the group given her past).

but yah i get you when it seems like most of that hasnt really been shown, i wouldve liked more, but im content with what weve got.
