just being a higher number doesn't mean pick order advantage!

if you are both picking at the same time then no one has pick order advantage

This isn't true. It's typically accepted that pick order is from top to bottom, no if's and's or but's. If two people call mid and they're picking at the same time, the person closer to the top has priority.

This is my biggest pet peeve in league of legends, I hate dicks like you, i really do, yes, if someone is higher pick than you and you called the same role then tough shit.

My advice is don't autolock (pick order is recognized by Riot as an advantage, but not an absolute, but that doesn't give you the right to be a douche either) but instead communicate.

1: "Hey, I noticed they picked [X] champion. I have the perfect counterpick, is it alright if I pick mid?" 2: "Hm, alright. I could jungle."

Doesn't always work that way, but it's a hella lot better than doing nothing.

why not find a compromise that is agreeable by both parties involved?
