I don't think they will redo his lore again, but I am willing to concede the probability that the next targon lore update (in 2-5 years) will probably have him "grow as a character," which will probably include a resurfacing of his previous personality to some degree.

Pantheon is now a bodyless entity, taking control over the body of those it finds worthy. Atreus is Pantheons current host, but he actually died when Pantheon took over his body. It's easier to understand if you read it yourself. Pantheon really is a ~~**************~~ very unpleasant fellow.
