Deep Terror Nami2 votesYou don't have to dedicate any extra time or resources towards it if you don't want to, and you can get them just doing your normal thing in modes you can get mastery points. If your time is wasted by this feature, it's because you intentionally dedicated time towards it when you didn't want to.

Deep Terror Nami1 votesIf you literally refuse to play 4 different champions in a month, sure, you can't get all 4 chests, but you get the chest if anyone on your team gets an S, so you don't actually have to perform well personally.
