Nidalee's On the Prowl is probably my favorite easter egg buff in the game.

For those who don't know, Ally champions that are a lower level then Nidalee gain experience while near her.

It's a buff she gets, and it has stacks, called "Dumb cops outsmarted." You get one everytime you kill one of them, but they're completely useless.

Because while he is telegraphing those spells, his camps are getting ready. Meanwhile your jungler is spending actual time clearing. He just has more lane-uptime if he plays it well and the enemy jungler doesn't counterjungle/ward properly.

His high win rate comes from needing a change in gameplay pattern, rather than being mechanically strong. And people are generally much better at focusing down say a yasuo, than playing the map differently.

But this ignores the point i made which was entirely focused on how practical he is mechanically. He's not in my opinion. Everything he does is slow and telegraphed which can be avoided easily, especially when playing with high elo players.

Because Sion players are some of the elite few League players who actually understand how champion hitboxes work. For someone who actually plays Sion, his "slow, telegraphed abilities" aren't particularly hard to hit.

Not to mention, he doesn't actually need to hit anything to be effective. Everything he does forces the enemy to react. Oh, Sion is using Q? Well, now there's a massive area that we just straight up can't be in. Sion's ult just sounded? Crap, we have to get out of the lane (SURPRISE!!! He was actually ulting through the jungle right where you ran to!).

Basically, Sion players understand how to make sure they hit their abilities, and they understand when and how to use them as zoning tools (using Q over a river exit to force the enemy to run into Skarner's obelisk zone; using Q to bait out hard CC, like Thresh hook, which puts your Q on a 2 second cooldown; using R to force the enemy to either get hit, run towards your team, or burn flash and still potentially die; etc).

I know that, i used to main Sion after his rework. I am mainly concerned about Ivern's root which has a very slow fly-time. The only way you'd hit a good opponent is if they were already zoned to a forced corner to get hit.

Btw, Sion's Q can be recast at any time and his E is pretty fast in of itself at unpredictable angles. They're not as telegraphed as say Daisy or the root Ivern has. Or even the brush maybe.

That's what I'm talking about, an intelligent answer. In all honesty, you can counter him by simply taking his wolves or raptors, since he will focus on getting his buffs first with his passive and smite. If you wait for him to leave the camp and then take it, you can get telegraphed information about his location too. He's probably on the way if it's ready to be "set free".
