The timing and context of the following joke are unusually coincidental (and hilarious)

I have a friend nicknamed "Cherry" who is playing Morgana in a game with me.

On voice chat with my lesbian friend, shortly after Cherry dies 4v1, she says "Cherry got popped."

My response was "You mean that weak little shield of hers?"

She burst out laughing after a couple seconds.
