Is his utter disregard for simple geometry. I mean really Vel, calling it a lifeform disintegration RAY is incorrect. A ray is a line that passes through a set point (I.e. the good ol' eyeball) but lines go on forever, which clearly contradicts this valued method of research. We need to teach Vel'Koz some math. A RAY (not the geometric term) also could be a spread from a central point (i.e. his eye) AND a RAY could also be the straight line in which light or other electromagnetic radiation travels to a given point.
